Tasaburo Takahashi Gallery of the Reader Collection of Japanese Flower-and-Bird Art

Tasaburō belonged to the mid-century creative school (i.e., Sōsaku Hanga) of Japanese artists. Typical of this group of artists he intentionally changed the true shape of his flower, fruit and bird subjects. Twenty-two examples of his creative woodblock prints are shown below.
